Before late last year, I didn't even know there was such a thing called "domaining". I thought everyone who had a website actually planned on developing it. Wow, well that was quite dumb of me!

I prepaid 2 years of hosting, which costed me almost $100. So I decided to 'work' online to buy my second domain. I found Devhunters forum, which had only a handful of members at the time and someone there pointed me to Namepros (incentives board) to work my way into earning $8 . After one or two months doing the whole incentives thing I decided to do what everyone else on that forum was doing, and buy/sell domains!

How did YOU get into domaining?

I had a major back surgery back in 2005, and I had alot of time to kill on the internet, and my cousin came over and told me about this site. You went in, did some surveys, and if you made 1000 points, you got to buy a .com name from optinomdomains.com for free. So I was all like 'Cool!' and did it. So I go in, do the surveys, and about 24 hours later, purchased my first domain name, SpawnGFX.com.

Before all of that though, I was still doing the hosting thing, buying hosting from this site called GameRenders, where members were selling hosting and such. I was tired of the whole http://www.username.dluzion.freewebhost.com and etc. domains, so I started working around my house and making money to fund my domaining habit Thats how I got were I am today

The most decent free subdomain + hosting I got was username.moved.in But they don't allow ads there so I moved on.

Yea, hahaha. Been doing alot better I was out of school and anything that involved leaving the house for about 4 months, but then I was back at em Most people don't even know about the surgery, until I tell em I'm just a normal kid living a not-so-normal life xD

I've always been interested in domains and as soon as i found there was a $0.99 .info coupon @ mydomain.com the i regged loads of them. They were all pathetic domains and not worth anything, but i always wondered about selling them. Eventually i found out about namepros.com and registered, since then made a couple of $100's on domains and now here i am
