I am wondering if the tld, .info, is worth the trouble? I mean its only $2.00, yet many people do not even know what it is? So do you guys believe its worth investing your money inside this tld?

- .info domains can be used as a sperate site for your website to offer information.

I personally have never been a fan of the .info's IMO

I honestly don't like having .infos in my domain portfolio. Although I would definitely buy .info if I wanted to set up an information site. The advantage though of buying some .infos is that many people do go for them. You're buying one for about $2 and you can sell them for $8 or more if someone else likes them.

If you're thinking of having simple sites like website directories (esp. to give your .coms more backlinks) then .info is something you might want to consider. It's definitely reasonably priced and very affordable.

Well if you want to develop an information site its not bad. Also Last year there were many encourging .info sales such as camping.info which was sold for 20,000 $ i think.
