According to 3la.org there's only 1773 CCC.nets available at reg fee. Most are L-N combinations, and although it might sound bad at this point, let's not forget that the early 'Y2K' consists of 2 letters and one number. With all these software s coming out, and their numerous software versions, perhaps a number-letter combination isn't as bad as you think? I mean, high-five used to be written in letters before Hi5.com became so popular...and that's a CCC domain.

There's some pretty cool-sounding/catchy CCC.net still available for reg. It's just a matter of time for all these 1773 CCC.nets to be sold out. Some domainers would go as far as registering 1000+ domains all at once, on the same day. Don't be surprised if you wake up one morning and found out that every CCC.net has been sold...and don't say you weren't warned.

I've seen some great CCC.net's. I was really interested in getting something like : 6t7.net or 4t2.net for example, but all are regged and selling for $30 min.

I dislike domains with hypehsn in myself. I reg domains on how they look, probably won't get me far in the business but I'd much rather have 100 pretty domains for $20 each than 10 ugly domains worth $250.

But yes, .net's are my favourite domains, much better than .com's and .orgs

I am pretty sure 3la.org is out of date. I believe the CCC.net buyout has already occurred. I checked some of the CCC.nets they have listed as available and they are taken. From what I saw on the bottom of 3la.org it doesn't look like it has been updated since march 2nd. CCC.nets are currently going for about $10 each now. Right now I have 2 left and I've already sold 3 of the other ones I had.

citricsquid, are you serious? The problem I'd have with a .net is that I'd probably have to get the .com, which means I'll have to pay more fees annually. The .com is still a whole lot more popular than any other extension, so I've always thought that having anything but the .com of your domain means you're promoting the .com's owner.
