I recently found out that you can register .cn domains for $3ish on average, sometimes $1 or $2!

But what's so cool, is that its PER year, not first year or nothing!

So you can register a .CN for about 3 years for what you would pay for a .com for 1 year. It's a good buy, if you can find an available domain name [CHINA WAS REGISTERING .CNs FOR $0.01]. But if you do get one, you can market it right and make it just as good as a .com

But what's your thoughts on em?

China's still offering them for 1 yuan (US cents) per domain for the first year. Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time trying to find a Chinese registrar that will accept foreigner registrations. It's starting to piss me off.

It's compulsory for you to submit your ID number when registering...and if you don't have a Chinese ID number, you get errors in the registration process.

Me and Mike went through Name.com and didn't have a problem at all

Yeah, but at name.com it's $2.99 per .cn. At the Chinese domain registrars they're selling .cn for $0.14, which is the price I'm willing to pay for one!
